I am Beauty and Brains!

Documenting my road to medicine, I lead by example and showcase how I’ve redesigned the stigma of women in higher education.

A passionate women’s health advocate aiding the maternal mortality crisis, I am a 2x HBCU graduate from Spelman College and Meharry Medical College obtaining Master’s Degrees in Physiology and Health Science.

Personifying my brand: Beauty and Brains, I am in pursuit of my Doctorate of Medicine degree with aspirations to become an OB/GYN.

As a social media savvy, lover-of-pink I use my platform to influence and inspire digital mentees around the world as a YouTuber and Podcaster, with over 5 million lifetime views on my YouTube channel: “Brelynn | BeautyandBrains”.

I’ve secured thousands in fundraising dollars for March of Dimes and lobbied on Capitol Hill through my service initiative Birth Equity 4 All.

With a bubbly personality and communication skills honed by years of content creation, my future is destined to deliver a message that resonates as a media health correspondent, improving women's health quality, especially for underserved populations, beyond her doctor exam room.⠀

More than just a digital content creator, I am a self empowerment advocate, fighting for women’s rights across the world and striving to change fatal maternity statistics for black and brown women.

From motivational speaking and mentorship, to fashion, hair and pageantry, the Beauty and Brains community that I’ve created works to both accept and encourage everyone, to fully be, whoever they truly are.
